NSP's debut production was a night of one act plays featuring Boys' Life by Howard Korder and WASP by Steve Martin. They were performed in the Larkin High School Black Box Theatre in July, 2005. Since their first show NSP has donated to Easter Seals Jayne Shover Center, a foundation dedicated to the service and rehabilitation of people who have disabilities.

In January 2006, NSP performed The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) by Jess Borgeson, Daniel Singer, and Adam Long. The show was taken to Larkin High School and Central High School in Burlington. NSP also did public shows at Epworth United Methodist Church in Elgin. NSP was able to help a local musician and friend in need of medical assistance.

The Nerd by Larry Shue was performed in August 2006. The comedy was performed at Steel Beam Theatre in St. Charles.

In January 2007, Vin Morreale Jr.'s The Fairyland Detective Agency was performed for Howard B. Thomas Elementary School in Burlington, Prairie View Elementary School in Elgin, and Hawk Hollow Elementary School in Bartlett.

God's Favorite by Neil Simon was performed at Steel Beam Theatre in August 2007.

The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) was performed yet again in January of 2008.
